The Meseta!!!

Pilgrims either love it or hate it!  It is 100k of wheat fields and wide open sky.  In the Spring the endless fields are green and stretch as far as the sea.  As the wind blows, the young wheat flows across the horizon like waves on the sea.  The clouds move overhead casting shadows on the earth below.  I walk alone..Barbara and Kiron are ahead and Sharon behind.  The only sound I hear is the wind and my own breathing.  It will take almost a week to walk across.

It is said you can meet yourself on the Meseta.  As I walk, I say a mantra to the Universe.... Open me, Guide me, Teach me, Heal me, Love me.

Not sure what or who that is being said to, maybe to myself.

Buen Camino

  1. I love your view of the Mesetas. Enjoy the open air and don't get too bored.
